What can I do for free?
The first two modules of the Foundation course are free: Welcome to Estate Planning, and Understanding Wills (what a will is, intestacy, what passes outside a will, family law and types of will). Set Up Your Business and WILLO with Ease are free too. No card needed.
How much is the Foundation course?
£299, or £199 if you buy it within 5 days of signing up. Your own deadline is shown in your account. After it, the price is £299.
Do I need any qualifications?
No formal qualification is needed to write wills in England and Wales: will writing is not a reserved legal activity. What matters is proper training and knowing where your legal boundaries are, which the course covers.
How do I practise before seeing real clients?
In the Foundation course you record role-plays of real appointments with our practice clients, and a trainer listens, scores you and tells you what to work on.
What does the Business Start-Up Package include?
Every add-on course, 4 months of WILLO, case support (we check your drafts before they go to the client), and cover on our insurance for 4 months for drafts checked through case support. It's £1,495 and is available after the Foundation course. Afterwards, WILLO is £150 a month, case support is £49 per case, and you'll need your own professional indemnity insurance.
Can I do this part-time?
Yes. The lessons are self-paced, written and in audio, and work on a phone, so you can study or listen in short bursts around other work.
